Stay Calm

With a restriction of 100 words, I joined a contest to get a horror piece published. With my love for zombies, I knew exactly what to write about. And she was published, and for that I am forever grateful.

What Remains

Now obviously, no good writer should avoid emotion. And no good apocalypse story should avoid gut-wrenching confrontation and loneliness. So, my lovely Charlotte again is telling her emotion, to an enemy, or friend. That's up to you.

Ride Or Die

With inspiration from my published piece, I decided I wanted to bring this story to life. A prequel to Charlotte's fear in "Stay Calm" and to learn and grow with her as she finds herself inside a zombie apocalypse.

A Fathers Love

My Father has always been an inspirational figure to me. Though he may not be a celebrity or the richest man on earth, he's always there for me. Emotionally intelligent, I must include a story about my mentor.

Puppy Love

In my college Creative Writing class, we had to try and write with a literary element we don't use often. I chose "Author Intrusion" and spoke about a real event that happened in my life. I fell in love with the piece... and maybe the guy a little bit. But don't call me out!

Consume

Some symbolism is extremely overdone, those positive feelings of "sunshine" and "rainbows". But, we as a society love to avoid those dark moments. And for that, I hope my dark moments make you feel less out of place.
